Dubai, a city synonymous with opulence and luxury, is about to add another feather to its cap. The Emirate is gearing up for the grand opening of Banyan Tree Dubai in November 2023, a part of a multi-staged project on Bluewaters. This new addition promises to redefine luxury lifestyle experiences in the region.
Replacing the existing Caesars Palace Dubai, Banyan Tree Dubai is undergoing a series of brand-related upscaling improvements. Once completed, the resort will boast 179 rooms, of which 30 are suites. A highlight is the exclusive four-bedroom villa, complete with its private entrance, pool, and beach access.
Wellness enthusiasts have something to look forward to, as the resort will house the signature Banyan Tree Spa. This wellness haven will feature its own reception, relaxation zones, gym facilities, indoor and outdoor yoga spaces, and dedicated food and beverage areas. Unique features like private mini rainforests and hydrotherapy pools are set to elevate the spa experience.
Food connoisseurs will be spoilt for choice with five restaurants and bars. These culinary spaces are the result of a collaboration between Ennismore’s in-house F&B concept studio, Carte Blanched, and Banyan Tree Group. Guests can expect a fusion of flavors, with each restaurant offering a unique dining experience.
In addition to the resort, Banyan Tree Dubai will also offer 96 private residences. These range from one to four-bedroom units, all of which come with a dedicated lobby, outdoor swimming pool, and access to the hotel’s facilities.
This project is a result of a strategic partnership agreement between Accor and Banyan Tree Group from 2016. The operational model will be similar to other Banyan Tree properties in Doha, Qatar, and AlUla, Saudi Arabia.
Sébastien Bazin, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Accor, expressed his excitement about the partnership and the upcoming projects in Dubai. Amit Kaushal, Group Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Holding, emphasized the significance of collaborations like these in enhancing Dubai’s hospitality landscape.
The Banyan Tree Dubai is not just a hotel; it’s a destination. With its prime location at the heart of Bluewaters, guests can explore the vibrant waterfront lifestyle destination. Bluewaters by Dubai Holding boasts a wide range of hospitality, lifestyle, residential, leisure, and entertainment opportunities, with more than 150 retail and dining concepts.
