The Al Habtoor Group has unveiled plans for the construction of the “Habtoor Tower,” a groundbreaking sustainable landmark building that will stand as one of the world’s largest and most innovative structures. Situated in a prime location on Sheikh Zayed Road, adjacent to the Dubai Water Canal and offering breathtaking views of iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the tower will be a magnificent addition to the thriving Business Bay area.
Located within the renowned Al Habtoor City, a vibrant destination that was officially launched in 2016, the Habtoor Tower will join a prestigious lineup of luxury lifestyle destinations. Al Habtoor City already features three internationally branded hotels – The Habtoor Palace, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the V Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, and the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City – as well as the acclaimed La Perle, Dubai’s premier show staged in a state-of-the-art aqua theater, and three deluxe residential towers named Noora, Amna, and Meera.
With a rich portfolio of successful projects including the Burj Al Arab, Dubai International Airport Terminals 1 and 3, and the Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi, the Al Habtoor Group brings decades of expertise to the development of the Habtoor Tower. The tower will showcase innovative, creative, and meticulously executed construction techniques, reflecting the group’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality and design.
As a multi-billion Dirhams endeavor, the Habtoor Tower will set new standards for ultra-luxurious living, encompassing an impressive 1,701 residential units across a vast built-up area of 3,517,313 square feet. Soaring to a height of 81 floors (G+7+73) above ground, it will claim the title of the world’s largest residential building. The ambitious project is slated for completion within a remarkable timeframe of 36 months.
Khalaf Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, commented: “As a former builder/contractor, I am excited to be driving the first piles of the project into the ground and revealing some of the novel technical details of the construction techniques used in the Habtoor Tower, and very proud that it will be delivered at the highest quality in record time.”
