Starting from April 24, 2023, Dubai Real Estate Buyers have a convenient way to verify the authenticity and relevance of property advertisements. The Dubai Land Department (DLD), in collaboration with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), has introduced a new digital service called Madmoun.

Through the Trakheesi system, users can access the Madmoun application, where a unique QR code can be generated for each real estate advertising permit. It is expected that all real estate companies will incorporate this QR code into their print and audio-visual advertisements by April 24, allowing customers to utilize the new service.

By scanning the QR code or visiting the DLD website, users can access comprehensive information about the advertisement, including the status and features of the property. This initiative aligns with the DLD’s strategy to position Dubai as a global leader in real estate investment by leveraging technology to enhance real estate offerings in accordance with the directives of the city’s leadership.

The Land Department also reported a steady growth in housing transactions within the emirate. In the past week alone, Dubai witnessed 2,246 real estate transactions totaling 11.6 billion AED ($3.16 billion) in value.
