A total of five restaurants within the Kerzner International portfolio have been recognised in the prestigious inaugural edition of The MICHELIN Guide in Dubai, testament to the memorable dining experiences and depth of culinary expertise across both One&Only and Atlantis, The Palm.
STAY by Yannick Alléno at One&Only The Palm was one of only two restaurants in Dubai to receive the rare and highly acclaimed accolade of Two Michelin Stars, while Atlantis, The Palm’s Ossiano and Hakkasan were two out of only nine restaurants to receive a coveted One Michelin Star.
STAY was hailed for its ‘less-is-more’ approach with precise, sophisticated dishes. The ingenuity of chef Grégoire Berger at Ossiano, along with a narrative approach to French cuisine impressed the inspectors, while Hakkasan was praised for its reimagined Chinese dishes, exclusive to Dubai.
A Michelin Star is awarded for outstanding cooking, taking into account the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavours, the mastery of techniques, the personality of the chef as expressed in their cuisine and consistency both over time and across the entire menu. Two Michelin Stars are awarded when the personality and talent of the chef are really evident in their dishes; their food is refined and inspired.
In addition, Celebrities by Mauro Colagreco at One&Only Royal Mirage, and Nobu at Atlantis, The Palm, both feature in the Michelin Guide, which includes a total of just 69 restaurants across Dubai. Capping off a successful night, Danijela Tesic of Ossiano took home the Sommelier Award for her passion and knowledge of wines, and enthusiasm for wine pairing in a very relaxed, unpretentious style.
